Experimental development of a sketching machine via artistic coding in Arduino. Through disassembling of a scanner-/ printer-unit and new wiring and actuating of the motors a production line-like set up is build. It starts with a paper roll, onto which two different types of applications are made: water and color. A microcontroller enables the control of color- through water application, both with different amplitudes. By stopping the motors in random intervals within a defined scale, different sized points are created by the fineliner because of the paper having different time spans to soak in the ink.
